A beautiful journey..

Here's a small token of thanks to all my friends(called The ROAMERS) with whom i had spent many wonderful moments which I will cherish whole my life.
This poem is about our trip to beautiful hill station in India i.e. Lansdowne.

Just can't forget those two days,
which i'll cherish in many ways.
Learned a new meaning of a bond, called FRIENDSHIP,
as with them, any journey will be an awwesome trip.
Until that day, life's been a rookie, skating on an icy track,
but now, i try to find a ray, even from a crack.
The air had been calm and serene,
and every particle was shining to the fullest of its sheen.
Mountains wore a blanket, half melted half iced,
speaking volumes of themselves, that left me enticed.
Then came the evening which i liked the most,
the nature with her arms spread, proved to be a perfect host.
Walked up the road, with a cool breeze in a dim moon-light,
just made me realize a dream, in which i dreamt such a sight.
Came the next day, when we headed for another journey,
singing, chanting, walking up the roads, some curvey some turney.
Then came the God's house, which people call temple,
and we showed him by our recitations, that we are not that bad sample. (  )
Now was the time for some adventure,
without worrying for single fixture and denture.
Climbed down the hill, with utter zeal,
forgetting that we hadn't had even a single meal.
Then was the time to say goodbye to the hills,
but we were yet to show our watery drills.
Sat quietly there for hours, and learned a lesson from the river,
no matter what comes the way, never stop, never shiver.
At last, came the end of it,
but i had collected memories & moments, most precious in my kit.
Still don't know how to thank my kiths, and in what ways,
but i can't forget those two days.
With Best Compliments,
one of the ROAMER.
