Fly high for the sky is yours, but remember your nest |
Its not something you can buy from a penny.
I look at the sky filled with envious clouds,
for they can move anywhere without any doubts.
The waves are free to touch the shore and stroll back,
giving it a serene pleasure to the inhabitants of shack.
Countries become free from countries and celebrate,
For they broke all shackles to script their own fate.
I wonder if birds are the most free and happy,
as if they are their own mommy and daddy.
They have complete sky to fly and whole land to see,
however tiny they are, they could see us from the sky, like a moving bee.
But their definition of free is different from us,
for they have to return home on their winged bus.
We want to be free and live our own lives,
without thinking of others and ringing our own chimes.
Do we look back, what we made free when we became free,
because you may free the branch but you are killing the tree.
A tree would never hold back the branch and its growth,
as without it its a piece of wood which attracts everyone's loathe.
No matter where the branch grows and moves,
it will fall down and become "free" with just a groove.
The branch is now free and dreams of becoming a tree,
but the tree knows,it could never become a tree and this is not "free".
The waves move back to the ocean and the birds to their nest,
but they still enjoy their freedom and live their life the best.
I want to become a bird and traverse the whole sky,
to see the new world without any whats and why.
But I know my nest and my tree,
as it is my home and the reason I am free.
A branch is nothing without a tree,a bird is nothing without a nest,
no matter how free I may be,its the only place to rest.
I promise I will grow free and sane,
and our definition of "free" will be same.
Your Loving son...
